Night fishing for browns

Looking to try some night fishing for browns around the cobourg/baltimore tribs. Anyone ever had any luck? I heard that's when the bigger ones come out to feed. Are they mostly just migratory browns hitting at night? I know there's some dams in the tribs south of me so i figure I'll mostly be targeting residents. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Mouse patterns form what I'm told. Never targeted browns specifically myself ...

nymphs can be deadly on fall but topwater flies are fun when the hatch is on...sometimes you don't even have to match the hatch when they're feeding. and don't forget some olive buggers.

Evening/nightfall by far the most productive time, worms will do the trick.

Usual spots: beaver dams, deep pools adjacent to fast running water.

During the day, you have to drift your worm right under the beaver dam, as though you were trying to snag yourself in the brush. Usually the brownies are nice enough to prevent the snag from happening as they gobble it down.

Undercut banks are also a good target during the morning/day, but be sure to sneak up very carefully, and cast from as far away from the bank as you can.

Thanks for the advice everyone, been looking for mouse patterns but can't seem to find any. Might just have to learn to tie my own. Went out in the rain today and caught lots of atlantic smolts and little bows on an olive hairs ear, still getting the hang of fly fishing but my technique is getting a little better. I did managed to bring in 2 personal best resident browns over 16 inches on a panther martin. One tucked under a log jam and the other under a log/rock shelf. Hoping to get a nice migratory this run though
