Few days ago...

My nephew whom I took fishing for his first time (you can re-read the report again)
hurt himself while playing at friends house.
Not sure exactly what happened but he apparently was playing around like what kids should do and fell or bumped or something into a corner of a chair and hit his mouth. Which broke off one of his tooth and other one got pushed into the gum. Broken off one is ok because new one will grow but the other needs to have a nerves treatment once a week for some time.

This is very sad, but kids are kids.... we can only hope they'll grow up safely.

His swollen face gotten a lot better and he is smiling again and he told his mom he is ok now. So I guess it'll be all good now.

Hope everything will get better soon, so I can take him fishing again.

that's sad to hear. i hope he gets better soon so you can take him fishing again! i remember when i needed nerve treatment when i broke a tooth back in high school; i eventually got use to all of it and didn't seem painful anymore. since he's a child, it's going to hurt nonetheless :!:. hope everything goes well, as summer is just around the corner

Ahhhhh crap, that sucks Mikey sorry to hear that man I hope the little guy gets better soon. The one good thing about it is because he is young he should heal up faster than someone our age. I hope he can be out soon and fishing again, Im sure he's thinking about it too.
I wish him well and hope he gets better fast.

ouch that must of hurt but kids will be kids and hopefully they learn from these experiences.

i certiainly had my fair share of pain back in the day.

ya, I here that. I hope he's not like me Mikey I learned everything the hard way. If I was toold no its hot, I had to see how hot, lol. Again I hope he's back at it soon buddy.

Boys will be boys. One of my guys was using a knife this weekend without asking (we let him whittle sometimes under supervision) and cut his hand so we had to go to the hospital and get some stitches. Unfortunately they sometimes have to learn the hard way.

Thats rough, but they bounce back, my nephew last year on his first trip camping broke his arm, within the 1`st 2 hours, camping trip over, but he was bouncing around 2 days later, so it`s all good, but teeth are so painfull, I feel for the little guy.

i remember when i was little...

was throwing some metal plate and it literally flew to my head and ended up slight cut to my forhead. Phew~ could have been my eye balls or something.

Also, I was playing with a fire and guess what...? had some plastic on a stick and watching it melt off with fireballs... and somehow few hot melting plastic fireball felt right onto my wrist! right on that blood vein line... still have mark today.

i was quite stupid when i was young. glad that stage of my life is kinda over haha.

once i almost killed my firends gf with fireworks.

i put 3 sticks of those big ones that were $25 each together. they had those plastic bases so i didn't stick them in sand. lit them all at the same time....they didn't all fire at the same time and they didn't all fire up.....the first one when off and knocked the other two over......one shot into the open field and the last one shot right at my friends gf missing her by maybe a foot. hit a building and then *BOOM* sparks everywhere....just glad no one got hurt......i'm never doing that again....

awwwwwwwww poor baby!
i hope he heals and recovers soon!!!
i'm sure he's glad his uncle mikey is thinking of him!
maybe you should take him fishing to distract him =)

I agree with chibi, distracting him might be the best medicine Mikey, Im sure he's a tuff little guy but getting out and some freash air could'nt hurt. He's a lucky little guy having such a great uncle their to take him out fishing, never had that growning up and he will remember these day for the reast of his life Mikey, your doing a great job, keep up the good work man. Hope he's getting better,
Chris
