So while out this weekend, I was fighting a fish (that we eventually landed) Half way through the fight seems as if the center screw for my Okuma Reel fell out.

After checking the Okuma website Rocky's tackle service seems to be the place to go however they are only open Monday-Friday untill 4pm. This puts its just outside of my reach.

Would anyone know where I can get another center screw in the GTA? Somewhere that is opened into the evening.

Thanks
Jay!

you could likely jerry-rig something at a decent hardware store. (while you wait for an acutal part via mail?)
Should be a standard size fine thread.

I always left my okuma screw a bit loose too and kept an eye on it.
if you over tighten that reel, the o-ring compresses and applies friction to the spool.

This can actually be pretty handy in some situations too...

I have my screw bit loose too. I put just a bit of Loctite with toothpick that way screw stays at same location.

Okuma said 2 weeks and with international shipping its up to the border as to when it gets here.

$13 shipping
$5 for part @ Rocky's will have it tommorow.

Jerry rig, I was thinking of this, however I was a bit concerned I would mes up the thread.

What about centre pin angling ? www.centerpinangling.com they are in the GTA.

That guy Jim seems so scetch and his pricing made no sense. $18 shipped to my door(7-10 days). I asked him how much if I picked up he said $15.95+taxes and I would have to pick up at UPS Warden/Eglington.

$18 from Rocky's and I will have the part tommorow.
