You can only use a light that is part of your lure or attached to your line. I have heard of people using glow sticks on their lines for eyes.

You can bow fish for carp as far as I know.

1. I assume you're fishing the shore or river, you need to secure the area behind you 1st by setting trap lines using fishing lines
attach to electronic buzzer, cans, bottles or anything that you can hear from the area you're fishing at. 1st trap line will be 1ft.
from the ground. 2nd will be 2 ft. from the ground. Save your urine on a bottle, spread this around near the trap line, that will work
as predator repellant. Have someone with you around.

2. If you're on a boat, you need your life jacket on. Lights on your boat should be on, visible enough for other boaters.


Make your presentation as real as can be. I suggest use thinner braided line maybe 10 lbs. for sensitivity reasons do not pull so hard, take it easy on the line, plus wire leader or mono 50 lbs., this is a musky and pike season. You will be fishing like a blind man all dark around and lots of bugs. I night fish few times before from 6PM-2AM and caught a Bass 3Lbs.
