im sittin on 10 counting my 2 fly rods from the 70's lol i have a new born at home now, so my budget for fishing gear just went down.......unless she gets into fishing in a few years....

Orvis makes some beautiful gear. I have a 6 wt rod and matching reel I use for Specks and other resident trout, also Smallies and Panfish. It is a perfectly balanced rig and a dream to fish with.
Mine is about 6 years old and came to me free. Gotta like free stuff. Last I looked the rod and reel combo retailed at about 600.

orvis frequent flyer is a great idea--8wt gonna grab it cheap from a local dude--brand new

For me it's many sections a 4 pc rods is enough for me
