UPDATE

Sorry guys I keep changing things but I want to keep to the original plan for bass. Was thinking we should head to the fergus tail water. Its not really high and great bass all up along there. Reason im changing it again is cause the creek is small for the group that is coming out.

So here's where we are gonna meet.

Then we will head to the bridge on second line road. Then from there head up to the dam or down stream.

Hope to see everyone there.

Let's do another one. The Nith is what I'm looking to get into next weekend the 3nd of August. If the rain keeps off. Time could be for 8am outside of Ayr Ontario. The Nith has smallies pike and eyes.

Here's where we can meet there's a parking lot at a gas station.

Dropped Pin
near 1148 Northumberland St, Ayr, ON N0B 1E0

Post "IN" if your going to attend. Gonna be a fun time as always. You can bring whatever you want to fish with.
August 3 is tommorrow. I am down with fishing the Nith, (always wanted to.)
I don't have transport though, but if anyone from Hamilton is headed out, I have pitch for gas and would love to join in. I am a stones throw from Gage Park.
PM if you are going and can take a rider. I can also take buses to meet up.

Alfie.

sounds good bud. bit more of a drive but if it means better fishing im in

maybe edit the front page post too as a lot of people just check that write down direction post that they are "in" and just show up without looking again..

:)

Really wanted to come out this time, woke up at 5 this morning, checked the flows and saw a huge spike throughout entire system last night. Decided to wait for tomorrow morning and went back to bed. Sorry, I'm super limited on my fishing this year as I have a newborn, gotta pick and choose wisely. Hopefully next one will workout better. Also hope you guys had a good time and caught some stuff regardless of the high water.

Thanks to the people that came out. Was a great time to get out. Fishing was crap cause of the high water. Will try again once the water heads to normal flows again. Everything down here is blown somewhat.

Tcp I understand man. All good.

Shaw basically skunked day.

It was a tough stretch of river yesterday for sure. Dirty, high, fast water.

I went to mounstberg at 12ish, then drove to 2nd line at about 4ish ( i fish it often) to see if by chance you guys were there. Even waited till the evening/night hatch and still notta.

Good to hear you guys had a good time regardless though!

Yeah. Browns in Fergus won't be rising during the day water up there is just too warm.. Probably just before dark for the bugs and now probably hitting bait fish more then anything.

Can't wait till things settle down major rivers still crap after almost a week or being high and fast. Wanna get into some bass and wolves. Have only been out 3 times for em. The rest for trout. Now just a bad time of year for em. Unless you know a creek that's ice cold all year round and they stay active.

Sadly I tried that too but none bite. Had a great outing though with the fellas and learned not to wear sandals next time. Finally purchased a set of waders for the next outing. I'll be trying them out this weekend at the upper credit hopefully I won't have a leak in my first outing on waders.

haha we might be doing the lower credit soon bud, good place to get those waders worked in. pm me if interested
