Lower river? Ive observed solid numbers of fish in certain sections of the river and im pretty sure they moved up quick and early this year... although i know its not the size it used to be. I talked to a NVCA guy who said the numbers of steel are still strong, thanks to the new regs (catch n release).Knuguy said:The Notty has been vewy vewy slow for salmon this year and may well be the same for trout.

So fish tend to pass thru the lower section quickly----you would too if you were gasping for air. The lower river is the only section with good public access. Angus is OK if you like combat fishing. Above there it's C & R with limited access.
