Heading up to penetang to build a deck next week. Would like to spend a couple days fishing as well. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Don't need anything real specific just a river or two and there where abouts. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

do you need any help framing? i could give you a hand get it done quick so we can spend some time on the creekbank.. if you wanna fish were the fish are hook up with me when ur up here you'll be close to my home water which should be getting prime by then...right now its over its bank. right now i'm reworking three skylight boxes.

Did you get up to much fishing while you were up here?

I'm not from around here and I'm housesitting for a friend in MIdland and am hoping to get in some fishing this evening, tomorrow and next weekend. I don't even know where to begin to find a spot. I'll probably fish for trout right now, I suppose. Didn't seem like much happening on the Wye - passed by this afternoon on my bike.

Anyway, I'm wondering if you found anything good in Penetang or if you could recommend some spots in the area. Much appreciated!

Coldwater river, or Sturgeon and Hoggs creeks or go west to the Nottawasaga.
