Persistence finaly pays!

Since my first successfull landing of some steel over a month ago and many many outings since and a few on and off I was pleasantly introduced to this lil cutie!

Only second steel landed since i started pinning but man what a rush! Ive been hitting the waters hard over the last 2 weeks and checking out new spots ive never been to and today paid off. I can't say the same about the traffin on the way home :angry:

After landing this beauty another angler with his spinning rod came stood 10ft down river from me and proceeded to cast upstream 10ft past me to start his drift. Rather then toss him in the river like i wanted to i jsut left.

Cant believe the mentality of some people.

Naw I didn't even use 1 roe bag this time. I have always used roe for rainbows, I grew up bottom bouncing and my father only used roe so naturally I became accustomed to his methods and never really bothered with anything else. At least til i seen how much alot of you OFFers use beads! I ordered some new raven line (yellow) from Fisheads and some new beads and thats what she hit on. 8mm egg yolk bead. I took a bunch of pics of it. Ive seen someone post a few in other threads taken at that same angle and I love the way it looks so I chose to post that one. Others show the BG and didnt feel like editing it out.

Beauty fish! Im still fiending my first shot of chrome this season lol Dont let those idiots get to ya bro, same thing has happened to me a bunch you land a fish turn around grab the hemo's pop the hook out and some bumbaclot is in your spot fishing right where you got your fish. When that happens this is what I do, either tell the guy I was there and if he isnt a pecker head he will move, if not, snip ur leader and shot line off ur rig, keep it of course lol and then stand right next to the guy and cast over his line as much as you can, I have done this tons of times believe me they will move more often to another hole! haha As much as I love this type of fishing I cant stand how many morons are on the river

It's better if I jsut walk away. My fuse is short when it comes to stupid people. Always other fishing holes.
