Personal best Carp

Went to one of my honey hole and got lucky, landed my personal best carp to date , at least close to 25 lber. Took me and my friend to lift up the fish out of the water for fear of breaking my net. Only one fish landed out of 3 guys fihsing for 3.5 hours. Really slow.

The width of the carp is roughly 9" while the length is more than 33 inches. My shoe size is exactly 11 inches. It is a female and the girth was big.

With this photo, unless I hug the fish and wanted to be slimmed all over, I was not able to lift the fish sideways to show a better pose, due to the weight.

I went to another spot to aim for trout from 5-9pm, they were everywhere swimming around us, but no takers. Base on the water conditions, the trout fishing are still in season.

was at turkey point today and saw a bunch of monster carp while perch fishing, we were hoping they might take a worm but they werent interested.

Any advice on what bait to use in that situation?
