My #1 pet peeve is watching a DAD teach his SON how to snag salmon in the creek.

WHAT ARE YOU THINKING!?!?!?!

( a friend of mine walked over and cut his line ) hahahahah

Or you get those "people" who only have a net..........no rod.....

-=S.K=-

That dad is an Idiot.

Whats the pin debate?

I listened to the pin vs. fly debate for half an hour last weekend................... ahem *cough* not naming names *cough* ahha.

It was entertaining though. By no means a pet peeve with those guys!

I;d have to say another huge PP is when someone hooks your line. Yeah I get it mistakes happen, but youre too close and not good enough if your casting over/ into someone elses line and 'hooking up' with them. Anyone gets a warning first offense. Second offense starts to really piss me off. Third time youre cut.

As for what you said about women salmo, no. I'm not that serious. If you put your hand near a friend of mine Lauras tackle box, even by accident, you risk losing that hand. And perhaps will become deaf in one ear for a few hours :) That ain't me.

...and here I was thinking you were wise.

- Non anglers who see a person visibly busy trying to fish, but insist on interrogating him with hundreds of questions. I should have brochures printed with the commonly asked questions to hand to these jackasses. It is truly a curse to be an approachable person with a fishing pole in your hand.

- Boaters who buzz shore and canoe anglers.

- Yell "fish on" and everyone comes running towards you as if it is the spectacle of the century. As the fight wears on the and the audience grows restless, they start yelling instructions like it was the Price is Right!

- Self deputized agents of the MNR

- Days when too much tackle has been donated to the river bed

- You lovingly secure that pole into the car as if it was your first born son to later find a bent guide.
