Hi if i were ti fish for pike at toronto islands, would it still be in season? and will the hot weather effect the fish at all?? either by making it more easier or difficult to fish??? thanks

Yes.

Only off season is month of April only.

Sure weather just got hotter but... I am sure there are still some hanging around.

there are still pike hanging around like mikey mentioned.
the weeds are starting to crawl up to the surface though. the trout pond is choked with lillies and doesn't look too fisheable anymore.
i find that i'm having to take a lot of weeds off my lures.
more weeds = more hiding spots = more fish.
i give it a couple weeks more and we'll start to see less "big" fish and more "little" fish.

The weeds are about 1 to 2 feet below surface now...and gettin thicker, still waiting to get a bass out of it though!

Absolutely, largemouth and pike love weeds!
