SmackUm, wonderful pictures my friend, if you keep posting pictures like these, I may just pack my bags and come see you soon  North Superior is amazing

So Huron and GBay have mostly small chinnies on the Canadian side, anyone know about Erie, Michigan and Superior? Is it just Huron with the stunted growth?

Superior has small ones, I think average is around 10lb

Small, ... yet BEAUTIFUL ONES!
lol

Nothing like what our BOOTS will look like in about a month.

UGLY!

Are not Pinks one of the best fish to catch up north where they are stocked and naturally reproduce? I love those fish. Never kept one. I get them in cans if I want to eat..
They fight like UHM HUM.
Pinks come in a can they were put there by a man, In some factory down-town. Sorry to The Presidents Of The Usa for remixing their song.

Alfie.

I headed out to Black Sturgeon on Sunday and got a nice chinook along with a small bow.
Sounds good bullshark pics?...We didn't bother fishing for chinnook last weekend as the fish are inedible and in a bad state of decay...went partridge hunting instead and did ok!
I think CJR is quite corect the chinnook are smaller out of Superior probably due to the cold temps (slow growth) my biggest is 25lbs out of the Nipigon River..FishermanDan is from Hamilton and he has caught quite a few (ten I think) over 30lbs out of the Niagara River...British Columbia still holds the world record I believe...I'll try and take some more fishing related pics soon... :)
Cheers

Amazingly, over 30lbs is not *that* big of a deal out of Lake O, 25lbs is quite common. I guess we should count ourselves lucky to have such big fish here!

This is the one from the black sturgeon river.
We went to Nipigon yesterday and got 2 chinooks from shore.
