Not a lot of fish on shore other than metro, IGA ect.
Fish seem to have a preference for water.
Kidding aside
Just Google sport fishing around what ever location your at.

The problem is that I googled and already visited few spots. But from the shore, there are lots of weed in the water so it not very possible to fish there. That is why I am asking

Don't know where your from.
But if your lucky enough to be close to any section of the Grand at this time of year ,shorts and pair of old running shoes you can wade in and around any obstacles.
And excellent fishing.

Best advice I can give you is look up any parks or walking accessible areas against the lake and start casting! Walk along the entire shore line (where possible) and fish. You will be surprised by what you can find.

Things like the Toronto Islands can also be worth the trip if you can put in the time and leg work!

I don't know if you're west or east but just to be on the safe side. Humber Bay park is right there in the middle of everything. Bring some nightcrawlers.

Sounds like you're trying to find a stretch of water that matches your fishing style.

Instead try to change your fishing style based on the water you're fishing.

Weeds are not a bad thing. Predatory fish use it as a place to ambush from, others use it for shelter/protection/shade. Try a weedless lure. Cast along side of the weeds. Cast along the top of the weeds. Punch through them.

Good luck!

Hmm, if you mean places to learn the sport I would recommend Wilkes dam, local small ponds with a decent depth, Valens lake is good but somewhat overfished, binbrook conservation area is where I personally learned to fish. And those are the main spots I know of that I can recommend.
