As most folks know the 2 piers in Port Dalhousie leading out to the lake have been barracaded closed due to safety issues with the structures. These piers for many years have been the gathering place for salmon shore fishing folk in the early Fall. If the piers stay closed for the whole salmon season, this will be a big disappointment to all the local shore fishing sport fisherman. Anybody have any news about the fate of the piers or repairs. Apparently, there are financial issues involved. Also, anybody catching anything these days at Port Dalhousie from the wall on shore? Thanks.

I guess they could just go to the niagara, much better overall there, for me at least. Ive never caught a fish at dalhousie

Last fall was great at Dalhousie. This yr I'll have to anchor the boat it looks like. No luck at any other peirs for me last yr.
