Nice largie. I go to port maitland lots to fish on the grand for sheepshead. That looks like a pond there?

No it's the canal, along where the boat launch is there a big factory called inpolos I believe, the train track run in there I was fishing off a culvert. Do you know of any other spots around here

I'll admit i dont have a clue where that is lol. Try the pier that goes out into lake erie. Lots of medium and big sheepshead and some MASSIVE carp around. A sliding sinker rig works great there for both those, and you might hook into a few cats too. Worms are where it's at man

I used a live action storm minnow, it's on the opposite side if where you fish I kno exactly where you fish, across the start of the grand!

Lol I've never been to the east side of the mouth there cause the only bridge to cross is back in dunnville. Oh and my fav spot on the pier is about 30 ft from the curve in the middle of it. It is really underrated, people always think that the end is best, but it's not always.

I'm more of a aggressive fisher I don't like to sit on the bottom, I love the action when your reeling from 25ft out and get a nice grab from a pike or bass... Nothing more exhilarating than that!

Me too but port M doesn't have alot of gamefish until the steelies come in in september, along with the odd salmon. One you hook into a big sheepshead or carp you have a big fight on your hands.

I don't think I've ever caught a carp, I'm not much of a bottom feeder. I have caught 20-30lb cat fish down the river a bit in a boat tho, those r something to see

Words out on that spot now if you go that's were you will find the most crowds. I also could the end facing the beach to be quite good. For the carp you need to setup where the iron fence meets the concrete walls.

What do you catch on the beach side? I've never tried cause it doesn't look like it has any structure.

Beach side at the end of the pair you can get into bass as well as sheepshead. Hit something big there that snapped my line might have been a pike but I'll never know. Lol
