Hey guys, hows the battle going? Ill be heading to rockwood conservation this Weekend with my newborn as my first family camping trip(mind you ill be in a rv) lol. Was wondering what kinda fish I could get into here and if anyone has been camping there before.

Yall have a good weekend and keep on rockin in the free world!!

Very picturesque and beautiful park!!! But as for fishing it's not the greatest... You may get a few Rock bass, pumpkinseeds, or chub...

I disagree, the reservoir has both large and smallmouth bass (although out of season), It has been stocked with rainbow trout. There's is also an abundance of carp if that interests you.

Yeah I know the park, used to work there years back. There's some nice trails within the park with some nice lookouts, there's caves at the very back of the park you can explore if your not clausterphobic.
As for the fishing, previous posts are correct. They used to stock it with Rainbows every year and I think still do, they put them in up top near the mill before opener to give them a chance before they seem to make there way down towards the outflow. There's big w.suckers and bass(out of season).
Hope this helps

i used to fish it a while back a lot, my first time there i got a huge bass and a nice rainbow, that lucky streak ended next weekend, lol. Its not the best for fishing really, good spot to kayak, bass are the only thing worth fishing right now but they are OOS, lots of chubs and i used to see tiny little goldfish around the shore line, they'll hit anything, lol.
