as long as you have a lindy rigger. a small container for your roe & hooks. it doesn't matter what bag you have. i'm a lazy guy when it comes to re-tye. and lazy + lindy rigger is made for each other.

I bought a used headwaters waistpack at Wilsons earlier this year.

It was used for 1 season and it was in good condition.

Heck yeah. there's no loss at that kind of a deal. when you know it retails way way more expensive...grab it. last spring...working snow boots were sold for $50....it retails for $150. guess who will be warm fishing in the winter....

So you just pre tie your leader to your swivel and hook?

During winter this would be great. Can't find the small variety at sail but maybe I'll order them online. Oh ya and for sure I don't think the 3 set package would fit in my hippack.

I rig a dozen leader (depends which lindy riger you have) all pre-tied with hooks and eye on the other end. I just uni-knot them to the swivel. very good when you don't like frozen fingers...

that's what i do and it has a few containers inside for beads, hooks, flies.

I have rocked the same vest since I started. I love it. I know where everything is. Fits everything. I guess vests are kind of old school but why fix something if it isn't broken. I do however need new wading boots mine are at the end of their time
