i wasnt looking for where but just if anyone caught anything. Goooosh

Just coming back from east. tried 2 rivers- nothing at all, no jump or hook up. Lots of lightening though, scares a hell out of you, with a graphite rod in hand!

Walked most of bronte from QEW to the lake... nadda.

I did mange to practice some "casts" with the centerpin though and fall into the creek.

:)

I tried at the mouth of the credit today, just as the rain was finishing up, and not a bite :(
No one else there seemed to be having too much luck either

I was at the Bronte Pier from 3:45 am to 6:45 am. No Chinook landings for me, but another guy landed a large one. And, this fish didn't have its adipose fin.

There should be designated areas for people who don't know how to salmon fish. Seriously.

I lost 3 spoons today due to idiots attempting to sit on bottom in the middle of 30 guys chucking spoons, people sitting directly behind me. and people casting 500 yards to the right, right over 20 guys lines......

ARGGGGGGGGGGGH.

Yup:

Won't catch me in those environs--I'll wait for the cold weather, coloured leaves, and silver bullets...
I'm also looking for a few guys who would like me to guide them for some NY steelhead...pro bono (i don't guide much anymore)

I'm game to try NY just say when

Salmon are in no short supply in the rivers up here . The water is majorly low and clear and above all .... warm . Yet there is a constant stream of Chinook blasting through , sometimes as many as 20 + fish at a time .
Got two nice hens for the bbq on Monday and the skein will be awesome on the slow drifts ( right , GBD ? ) in the near future . No pics this time of the fish .
