Salmon Trout Lake

I'm renting a cottage on saturday that is on Salmon Trout Lake...has anyone ever fished that lake before? If so any suggestions?

I've fished it before, it is relatively close to my cottage.
Good size pickerel and small mouth I believe, don't let the name fool you as those are the only species in there.
Do you have a boat at your disposal?

I have a canoe that is all

You should have a good trip then, it isn't too heavily fished lake so live baits are exceptional. That being said almost anything you throw in the water will get you a bass and jigs are great for the walleye too. Good luck on your trip, PM me if you have any success and if so what you were using. I'll be heading out that way in a few weeks
