Umm you can email the image to your photobucket account and it'll be there. I think photobucket also has an app but its a bit confusing to upload onthe phone

You only really need RO water if you have corals or you plan to have corals ... And if you do plan to have corals you need to watch what fish you get and how many ... The fish will change your parameters real fast and make keeping a corals a real chore with constant water tampering to keep it stable

Can someone explain to me, why does the sand have brown areas on it, the glass as well, Am I doing something wrong or missing something?

The brown film of algea is form when your tank is cycle and slowly starting to steady out. Just get a cleaning crew of some hermits blue are scarlet legs and some cerith snails and it'll take care of it. I believe the brown algea is called diatoms.

It happens to every new saltwater tank. After diatoms check your water paramaters weekly and try not to over feed. Cause cyanobacteria can also form around these times.

Btw where are u located. If your planning to get coral let me know :) I have a few friends selling and can give you a pretty good deal

Finally some pics! Thanks to Shawarma for hosting!

Holy crap, so about time I updated this thread.

So we had 1 Sailfin Tang 1 Pakistani Butterfly a couple damsels.

Couple days after adding the Butterfly fish, I noticed so Ich on the fins, It was a small amount, I said the next day I would get the copper treatment (at the time we didnt have any crabs and planned on taking out the snails). Well the next day the butterfly and sailfin were dead.

In the following days all the other fish died.

We cleaned the tank and re-started it. Before adding fish we made sure the water temp was up high for a few weeks treated with copper-ide. Once the salt level blanced out

We attempted a Green Chromis, which lived for 2 weeks on his own, then we added 2 other small fish waited another 2 weeks.

August 5th for my birthday my wife got me paired Picasso clowns and some kinda blue/yellow damsels.

Everything since then has been fine, we are feeding a mix of Noray (seaweed), dry tropical flakes and some clowfish specific dry pellets.

Filter, HOB skimmer have been functioning perfectly, we are actually looking to upgrade to a wide tank 100+ gallons

This is my old small tank looking to upgrade soon, not sure if you can see all 4, ive had the big gourami for just under a year. Sorry for all the water mark of just finished cleanings the tank after all but 2 of my fish died [emoji24]

Im not using anything special, im running 2 120 gallon per hour power filters with the special activated carbon inside cant tell for sure but as soon as i get back home i can check what brand it is i think its marine world or something like that, im just concerned about how it is right now, ihave an auto feeder in and i haven't seen the tank in 3 weeks almost, im hoping the extra filter keeps it decent
