I know, I know. I'll send you a pm.Alfiegee said::lol:  Noob. You just gotta get here, I have offered to show you places and techniques on the Grand before.
I have met up with at least 4 other OFF members, taken them to a few spots and showed them how I catch them and we had very successful days with multiple fish and also multiple species. I also agree with 420 in that 15 fish in a few hours happens fairly regularly at the right spots. My friend and I have caught like 50 fish in 6 hours at some places. Not all Bass but a mix of Cats and a few Pike, Walleye and other "usual suspects" added in.

No, I've caught both as far up as Caledonia, not common but I see a couple of each every year. The Grand has so many types of fish you never know what is biting til you land it, except Smallies, they usually show themselves seconds after being hooked LOL. That's why I prefer live bait there, you can catch anything.w_ boughner said:sheephead and bowfins are two fish still on my bucket list ... Would they be on the lower below Dunville ?
Thanks.. Yah ive been fishing with my stick baits all summer .. I really should switch it up but its soo hard to when your getting fish all day. Definetly will try a shallow crank bait.fishy_slayer said:Use fake worms 4 to 6 inch pumpkin seed.watermelon. Lures..shallow diving cranks minnow colours.
I hear ya. I've been doing live bait for years and catching fish. My friend has recently started using jigs and is getting them. I keep thinking if we get a slow day I will tie on a jig. My live bait hasn't stopped working yet. If it works don't fix it ;-) .420fisherman said:Thanks.. Yah ive been fishing with my stick baits all summer ..
