Hey Guys...and "Girls"
Seems we have left the issue of availability somewhat unresolved regarding the Saugeen in October: can we have a show of hands indicating preference...

Also some suggestions to add sections regarding fishing technique...poof, here we go...
Feel free to indicate your preferred method--so wee can huddle together in like communities and cast critical, sidelong glances at those using more "primitive" or "vulgar" methods...

I voted WEEKEND, but at this moment: CAN BE AVAILABLE for EITHER.
* Should I vote again?

lol

As of now, I'm flexible to make whatever the majority can.

Still shopping for some more Greek Formal Wear!

I'm fine for weekend or weekday :) I'll be taking it off when we get a date set in

:)

somebody want to fill me in on this?
i seemed to miss something.

OFF class trip? Saugeen steelies?

When?

Check out the Steelhead and Salmon Section Float ON, we could carpool there if you want. I think ill be leaving reeeeeally early for this one though, land a few fish before the group gets there lol.

I vote weekday as long as we have a bit of notice. Hopefully I dont end up having a trade show or something.

Weekday is fine too though. The saugeen may be a busy river but its also a very big river, im sure we will find some spots either way.

Not "my Video's" ... just found on YOUTUBE.

Gives an impression of the River.

Take any of the Footage etc with a grain of salt! lol

I don't really know what I am supposed to take away from that video...

As prefaced: "grain of Salt"....
lol

Meant to show WHAT the RIVER looks like. (Impression)
Many have not seen the Length, depth ... Banks etc

Video's are better than Google Maps (Doesnt always have Street View and live action)

Thats all Noob.

Both of those vids are below the dam.

Denny's

Was trying to find the "Cemetary Run" but having some difficulty.

Be great if anyone can Post an Impression of that area. (Video)

*NOTTA posted a pic of the GOOGLE MAP! (Satelite View)

Been out of town working so I have had no access to OFF.
It sounds like you guys are planning a road trip to the Saugeen, I'm down with that. Oct. no problem. I don't have the regs in front of me at the moment so I don't know how far up the river is open. I do know in the past I fished below Dennys in Feb in a pair of rubber waders and 5 pair of long johns. 20 years ago. I grew up on the Saugeen. The chrome make it up as far Port (Elgin), Walkerton and Teeswater. There are so many branches of the river.
I spent my teen years and early '20's hanging out in Port and S'hampton.

Let's do this.

Alfie.
