I can make a map in Paint if that will help. I just know that might create a stink as far as posting spots on the internet where the lurkers can see them. Are there objections to a Paint map of the spot or is there a place I can post this picture where only registered users can see it?

Bahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahaha too funny

I think I'm gonna save my spot by camping down on the river side with a little fire. Is there gonna be enough room for the locals with this many off guys goin. Lol. Gonna be fun

The locals are gunna hate that weekend lol. Everyone is gunna be all over the place casting. Good thing I took the weekend off :) I'm really getting addicted to this salmon/bow fishing :)

Oct is almost here!!

I recommend Union Burger as a good place to grab your grub on Goderich St. in Saugeen Shores..

1/2 price burger after 8pm - darn good burger for cheap.

How are the Veggie burgers. & do they go on sale too?

Good question, I was eyeing the veggie burger, then I decided whatever they put in a veggie burger, probably is no healthier than beef :)

They probably go on sale too. I got my burger in a wrap, man it was good.

Can we get a head count Of the people camping out? If so any ideas where? I know a few bush spots by the river but the owners would get mad if i brought along a bunch of people. Saugeen concervation? They have full campspots right by the river shore its nice.

You are absolutely correct!!! that's why it depends on the type of burger they use..

Hey my fishing buddy has been pulling a major fail this year. If anyone from the Hamilton area has room, send me a P.M. I don't want to miss this and I can't rely on him. I got cash for gas and Timmies.
If I can hook a lift with anyone that would be great. I'm in Hamilton and can arrange my scheduele around anything.

According to the on-line camera there have been very few fish passing over the dam. Does the Saugeen run, incl salmon, start much later than elsewhere? an we believe the on-line camera?

The fish way is a recent thing, typically all the bows get lifted at Denny's dam, I think a lot of fish do there spawning before the dam.

So .... im on the fence ..... as to what to do for sleeping accommodations .....

i see some are camping it out ..... and I'm interested but I'm wondering if getting a room @ a local hotel would be better in the long run ....

i have the gear to camp it out ..... just not sure if i want to ( weighing the options: warmth, showers,

So.... I'm putting this out there for anyone who wants to split a room for 2 nights ( i have a double Queen air mattress and would take ether or ..)

msg me on here ... Leavin Toronto Thursday midday - early evening

Get a room. The nights are really cold. Get the warmth I'm there for one night so I just hop in the back seat for a few hours.

I got a hatchback which should do the trick for one person sleeping with the seats down. Two people can fit but no balls allowed.

With the temperatures dipping into the single digits during the night I don't suggest sleeping in tents unless you have the proper equipment. Motels in the area are cheap, we paid 50 or 60 bucks for a night for two beds in November last year, the rates aren't set in stone especially on weekdays in the off season.
