Thanks man, you have answered my question perfectly, I know the road just not which one leads to which. Ya i can agree on the not eating I have caught some beautiful fish but you couldnt pay me to eat them. Just ehard that it was good fishing and read aboutit alot and thought I would try it out this summer, and if the day isnt going well the switch to some boilies and big carp is always fun, I have caught some monsters off lakeshore before that you could ride across to the Falls easyily,lol.
*I heard sheephead were being caught right now off the Bronte Harbour Pier, guys are casting spoons and spinners for trout and aparently nail'n them. Just thought I would put that out their, bring a lawn chari or pad though cause the concrete is cold, and im sure on one wants hemroids for the season, lol.

Also try the Burlington Lift Bridge ..

..off the Lakeshore rd -can be very good for Lake trout and salmon-sometimesyou can even see their dorsal fins-about 10 years ago I saw a very big salmon there and as lark I tossed a silver Rapala Fatrap to it and lo and behold the salmon struck it and I had a good fight on my hands however i couldn't land him as a piece of his lip tore off but I was very glad i did't lose my Fatrap -despite losing the fish it was big.

Sweet ya im going to try that out for sure, looking forward to the Grand sometime this week, I guess everything s hitting right now down their, but i'll be targeting some trout. I will let you know how I make out this year at Cootes Paradise and hopefully set up a decent fishing report on the grand. Im going in Brantford and I think I might try the Conservation Area Dam, I was checking it out awhile ago and saw some prime shore spots that will be easy to land anything even without a net.

I've never caught a sheep head before but i've heard of people fishing for other things and catching them by mistake I've heard of people ripping spoons for smallmouth and getting them and also people draggin' tubes and getting them. Hope that helps.

sheepshead are not picky. they will hit anythin when they feel like it! i;ve caught them on spoons, spinners, worms, minnows and tubes. hamilton harbour is loaded with them. same with the niagara river, lake erie and the grand river.

Hey while your on the topic can u shout me some info on the harbour, im close to it but never gone their cause I dont know the area, I tried Coote Paradise and it was crap, saw a tons of carp but caught nothing and everyone their that was fishing didnt either. I can reccommed going "sight seeing" their their were sooooooo many women on rollerblades that a single guy could easily get arrested their,lol.

I caught a Sheep Head once it was between 30- 40 cm I don't remeber. I caught it by accident i was fishing in Dunnville for carp when i landed a sheep head.

Was at RBG (Royal Botanical Gardens) today just off York Blvd/Plains Rd.
was fishing for mudcat with my ultra light, got a nice 4lb sheephead and it took me a good 10min to real him in. good time, but i forgot my cell at home so i couldnt snap a pic.
