Simax Rod warranty

Hi guys, i recently had a simax rod of mine brake after a fight with a small carp, shouldn't have broken as it was a med/heavy rod and i was taking my time with the fish, it wasn't very big either. The main reason i am posting is because i am trying t get a hold of them for the warranty, the warranty email and number they gave me is fake and is not working, i am wondering if anyone knows how to get a hold of them? I am quite disappointed with them at the moment, i thought they would have better customer service., thanks for any help.

Hey BowSlayer. I have heard many poor things about Simax and their rods breaking easily. I have even fished against some of the guys that they have on their pro staff and those guys use other brands of rods other than Simax aha. Does the website not have any contact information? Where did you purchase the rod from?

They were getting nothing but good reviews when i got it, i like the rod, really sensitive and great backbone but I'm surprised it broke so easily. Got it from the bait bucket in barrie, called simax apparently the rod has been discontinued and they could give me a cheaper model for 25 bucks but i really don't see the point, as the rod they would give me is 80, while mine is 140. I worked on it last night, sanded the bottom section and cut it off a bit and its holding well for now, well see how it holds up.
