Hey King he was probably flossing .

Actually what happened was as my float was going through the middle of the pool the fish jumped beside it and landed with his mouth on my line. Line above the float got caught in his teeth lol.

Keeping the length of line underneath a float shorter than the depth of water significantly reduces the odds of flossing or snagging.
