Here is a quick calculation of my estimates of the weight per unit for the ten most common solid brass bead sizes. If you think I have made a mistake calculating please let me know. Fractions have been rounded to keep it simple.

Fly guys, I know fly beads usually have a collar and different hole diameters so unless you're pinning regular beads to your flies this may not be as helpful for you. I have posted hole diameters in case anyone wants to make sure the approx weight will apply to what they purchase.

Cheers!

I see no mistakes! Thanks. It'll be useful for making inline spinners and stuff.

Thanks Noob hope it helps! Every single website has the weight posted for brass spinner bodies but not for solid brass beads. Makes no sense...

Math was never my strength but I figure this is better than nothing.

Thanks My Man! Good Info! Went straight into "My Documents - Fishing Info"

This "snippingtool" I accidently found on "Windows 7" is the Cat's Meow! You can take apart a PDF in no time.

Those Sites that won't let you right click and "Save picture as" I just SCHNIPPS IT!

You know what they say about Math ... "Dear Algebra: Stop asking us to find your X. She's gone and she's not coming back."

Cheers!
