can i use standard tapered leaders like on my line for my 6wt? if there are spey specific leaders what is the difference?

Ya I do but you should look at get longer leaders or if you want to spend the money and get poly leaders there supposed to be less smooth the mono witch changes the drift or something

I use the same leaders. Sometimes i have my fly rod and i'll be fishing and i decide to start spey casting! :mrgreen:

ya there is just make sure if your useing a 9 foot leader to add between 24 and 36 inches of tippet to your leader you want you leader to be as long as your rod or just longer
