That's mint.

I just started going for chrome this fall on the pin, went out once with a buddy in October and his spare setup and got hooked instantly. Got out every weekend between then and the freeze, personally haven't gotten any yet but buddy gets at least one every time. Cannot wait until the spring comes so I can get out again

Its a big learning curve BigT, just keep pluggin' away and soon enough it will be easier than catching rockbass ;)

Being out on the river pretty much eases daily stress. once the river flows...i'm back to my 1-2hr daily visits...the only upside on a frozen river is i get to spend more time with the kids...playing wwe 2k17 with my 9 yr old and 14 yr old....and chase around my 4 yr old at home....tomorrow hopefully can get me some pike action....

You think that is a rush. Get a tight line grab on a swung fly and your life is over.

I have a spey setup and do like the tight line grab.... just found over the years ill get 10 float fishing before I get 1 on a spey. It is my rush.

there's not much difference between fly or float to me...as long as it's pulling like it's life depended on it against my will...i'm all for it. float, spinning or fly.

That's gotta be a downrigger rod?
Doesn't even bend.
Lot more fun downsizing.
But nice vid any ways.

Hahaha.... that's good. Downrigging rod. Which 1 are u referring too. There are 3 rods in this vid. 2 @ 13'6" and 1 @ 15ft. All are ultra light action. Can't see myself downsizing. 4lb lead is as small as I'll ever go.

2 of them I'm not so fond of 1 of which I'm still yet to lose a fish on.

If it was a 2' ft pink barbie rod and was putting 100+ fish a season on the bank for me i'd still use it ;)

Right.... I can tie together all the loose hairs from my daughter's hairbrushes until I reach 100yrds. Then just do away with the rod and hand bomb it on a Cuban yoyo. XD

Downrigger rod?? Ultralight is too heavy????

In what world is a streamside tranquility too heavy of a rod for steelhead?

Ha ha
Lower blank looks same diameter as cork handle.
Enjoy your vids though.
They put anything on the fishing channel to shame.
And NO product pushing.

I agree with TI

An ultralight is too heavy

You have to use an ultra ultra light and 2lb test line
Call it what you like .
Streamside telephone pole is what I see.

Streamside Tranquility is a good rod. I am yet to loose a fish on it since I bought it. Good backbone for a solid hook set and the right amount of give for those big head shakes.

The blue accents my reel perfectly. Also came with a 6 yr warranty. One of the best balanced rods at consumer lvl pricing IMO.
