Strange Catch in Lake Couchiching

I've hooked a gull fishing on Lake Ontario. Had to cut my line cause it got viscious and wanted to eat my eyes.

PITA to unhook, atleast you got off lucky try one that has a treble hook stuck in it's tongue AND one hook coming out of it's nostril. Ugh.
Definitely a two man operation, and they stink.

He grabbed it from the water while we were trolling. Luckily he was only hooked through the beak and with pliers was released within 10 seconds.

I've also caught one on toronto islands before. Definitely not fun. Mine was hooked bad so i couldn't cut the line. I actually got it unhooked 3 times, but when i went to release it, it came back and tried to eat the lure again... Wasn't fun spending half an hour trying to get hooks out of the gull's wings.
