Going through dollarama today I saw and bought some Storm wildeye swim shads for $2, Since when does dollarama sell this type of bait? It's usually around 6-8 dollars in canadian tire.

I as well have seen Cotton Cordell lures at Cambridge Surplus, sorry I cant remember the name of them! Ahh! But they usually go for 7 8 bucks at fishing stores, they wanted 2 to 5 bucks! Bought 1 of every kind cost me 35 40 bucks for 15 lures or so. Not too bad!
And they also had XCalibur last year but not this year witch was kind of a drag.

Did anyone ever stop to think if they where stolen merchandise?

I bought a few lures from dollar stores, and amazingly, I find they work just as good - if not better then the lures from Canadian Tire or Walmart. I plan on using one of these lures today that I find is great for bass, it being opening day and all.

As far as stolen merchandise, I find it unlikely.

Dollarama usually gets things on clear-outs from manufacturers, you can usually find lots of things there, I have gotten metal leaders there in 5 packs for a dollar, and they work fantastically.

Just got back from dollarama, i bought 6 spinner baits, 6 jerk beits plus a few more fishing tackle items that i dont know the names but have used before.
I paid $22.50 for all of it, if i was to buy the same items at crappy tire, then i am sure i would have paid close to if not more then $100.

Quality is a bit lower when it comes to build, but if the items produce results in the water, then this is a great deal.
When you get a snagg and loose 1, it wont hurt as bad.

Just wish they had more variety.
