Stren Original vs Stren Super Knot

So I was at CT today and noticed the Stren Super Knot line. It was 17lb line, green, 220 yds for $7.99.
There was also Stren Original, which iv been using for the past few years. 10/12lb, clear/blue, 330 yds for $10.99.

What is the difference between these 2 line, other than the "knot strength" of Super Knot? From what I can tell, Super Knot seem to be a better line for the same price.

What am I missing?

Never even heard of stren before. Super knot would be better but if you do palomar knots then you line will break before the knot slips so then it does matter.

Not much but 17lb mono is going to be quite thick and can make casting a lot harder.

forgot to mention at OP but there was also 13lb Super Knot, which was the one I was looking to get for bottom fishing.
