So I tried out my new setup not far from home, not sure if I've set up my leader and shots properly. Caught a couple of suckers  and a wee rainbow, not sure if it was a smolt or parr it was like 9" long. Surprised if the roe would even fit in it's mouth. How do you vets typically rig? I have 10lb main line, small balsa float with 3 bb directly underneath float on main line, 3 or 4 bb3 on main, micro swivel then about 2 or 3feet 4lb flouro leader. I added 1bb6 about 18" up from the hook. Suggestions welcome

Whats wrong with suckers? I think the trout you caught is called a "shaker".

Seems an alright setup to me. Not always fish are there. Fishing is about LOCATION, TIME, AND SETUP and you probably got 1 or 2 of these right. Next time!

You're on the right track coldhands. The big ones may not be lurking in the specific spot you are fishing at the moment. Make sure your bat is getting down to where you want it, that is important.
