At the risk of sounding like a retard ive gotta ask. Is this a Pink or just a chinny? That extreme fork and strange spotting pattern has me wondering.
This fish was in a pool with a smaller silver like fish. i am sure its not a steel. I was wandering why there are soo many small jacks this season. i mean literally, i saw hundreds of em this year. last year only a few. the pool that i caught that bent tail Pinook lol, I hooked a brown abt 7 lbs. fought for abt 5 secs then broke off. i think the brown was fresh and it came out when the sun was abt to set.

I think the 100s youve seen are either pink or pinook. not just jacks. they are small. only chinooks are massive.

Unless hes north of Elliott lake hes not.seeing hundreds of pinks/pinook. Pinks are tiny. Have you ever caught one?chinnies come in all sizes
i think the ones i see are chinooks(jacks mostly) I doubt they are pinks. I dont think the trib that i fish is known for those kind of fishes(pinks).

maybe. i thought they were browns lol. Because of their small size. I am brown sighted when i go to that particular trib. every small brownish color fish looks like brown trout to me lol.

Ive seen a lot of sub 6 lb coho caught over the past coupe days, could be what you are seeing... M2c
I dont think so. This particular trib i believe dont have cohos and atlantics. But not impossible.

Bow_man - great fish brother!
TC - congrats on that! I'm very tempted to get into the world of spey this winter - we'll see if my budget will allow for that :p
