Put a piece of masking tape on your rod at 30''. My "general " estimate is a 30 is 10lbs. Add a pound per inch. Also add or subtract a pound or.so for thick or lean fish. Ive tested this with retained lakers in the winter and salmon, and is usually pretty close. I put my "trophy mark" at 32. If its bigger than that its a.gooder. under 10 lbs i dont get too excited

all smiles :D

FG is officially infected with the mykiss bug! Only cure is a 6-12 month leave of absence from work, to dedicate herself full-time to chasing chrome. After which point she will be re-evaluated and possibly assigned to another 6-12 months of fishing.

Great fish. The genuine excitement that you had when showing us that picture is just intoxicating. It's what it's all about and is something many forget about while out fishing (myself included sometimes). Congrats on your biggest and thanks for reminding me what fishing is really about.

Nice fish guys and FG.

I haven't been taking many pics but got a few random shots

Nice fish everyone, darn I wish I had more time to fish like in previous years, but life is getting in the way lol.

Got my biggest of the season recently too.
