Not the best pic, it was on my blackberry.
Not huge, but fun for a residential brown.

Nice Brown, and on the fly to boot!

Looks like it didnt flop around much which is a plus. Easiest way to land em safely for c&r is to turn them on their side in 2-4" of water along the shore. Once you have them there you should be able to keep control of them by holding the line as once on their side they are pretty much powerless.

Nice red spots on that one as well, next time we expect to see a pic where the fish is enjoying a nice 2" layer of water.

That's good advice NADO. I actually never take pictures for that reason, i'd rather get them back in the water safe than have a picture. Thats one of the only pics i have, believe it or not, after many years of fishing this same stretch. This guy was fairly quiet when i landed him and i felt like it was safe to snap a quick one. It went back totally unharmed and healthy and swimming.

keep the pics rolling

nice rig drifter like the classic porting on series 2, i notice you keep your reel quite a bit foreward

this is r2 the newest kp reel. i sold my series 2  depends on this particular rod its more forward but most of my other rods its somewhere in the middle. im tryin to adjust on putting it lower to the but section.

r2 iis like series 2 just with ported backplate no? ive been thinking about that green series2 last couple days with all this floatreel noise going on. ever try the reel all the way back? i find i get worn out quicker with it to the back

Despite tougher conditions then expected, we managed 4, three by steeler and one little guy at the end of our nine hour shift by myself.

Can't always have amazing days :)

The water still looks pretty stained. Still good to pull a few fish out, well done.
