Ive also struck, but didn't land, a couple of bows on a classic bass/pickerel/pike crankbait---a white Big 'O'

i told you, they eat the same bait fish that bass does, they are from the same waters. use what ever you have.

they gorge themselves on alwives and shiners in lake o, anything that has the same body shape will do well in the rivers

just a little guy, only fish caught today that i saw of there were tons of people everywhere but i found my own private pool, just outside the boundary i saw a pool of 18 steelhead that i counted all big guys but it was like 10 yards upstream of the open area. it was tempting but i managed to resist

Really that is and will always be my pops and I all time go to lure for bass pike and pickeral. It always produces. We have atleast 30 of em around
