Recent discussions with friends and opener around the corner I figured a few pics would get the blood flowing. Lets see and hear some small stream lovvvvvveeeeeeeeee

This is beyond amazing. You look like you're fishing in Jurassic Park hahaha.
I can't wait for opener. I am getting sick of this shoulder to shoulder... as well as the garbage and rude manners.

It will be nice to get back to something that can be that picturesque.

great shots. as for the shoulder to shoulder and rune manners...i hear that, i dont even bother fishing until opener and even then im going to spots where i would be amazed if i saw more than 1-2 groups of people.

the biggest fishing D bags are out at these times and they are not even fishing if you ask me...same with when the salmon run starts, its a joke. snagging, garbage everywhere, row bags here and there, dead fishing laying around the sides of the banks rotting away stinking up the area.

last year at B in Oakville i saw 2 guys standing at a narrow part of the creek where the fish would struggle to get by them trying to make a run upstream and they are sitting there with 2-3 inches of line from the tip of their 9 ft rods and trying to snag the fish in the face as they swim up river.

called them out on it and they just ignored me and told me to F off.

pathetic!

anyhow, sorry for the rant....love those pics and i cant wait to get out!!

I told myself I couldn't possibly get any more excited about opener....

Great photos my friend!

GBA come fish some big water. There is a whole world inbetween the east and little trout stream dickering.

Nice Madoc, what camera you using if you don't mind me asking. ( sorry a little off topic ).

That looks like some fine fiddle heads grounds there Madoc

You know, I never even thought to look while I was there, but looking back on the photo I would tend to agree with you!

It looks like you would have been too late at that time anyways. They might be prime if you go there on opener though.

Dozer just introduced me to em a few years back so I dont have much experience cooking them. I just fried them up in butter, garlic and some herbs and they were delicious.
