Took the plunge

Well, after reading many reviews online, and then finally, after reading Steel_ED's amazing customer service experience, I took the plunge into team Simms.

I have a week long trip in Northern Quebec (targeting eyes, pike, and MAYBE char) approaching, and desperately needed to upgrade some rain gear and hiking shoes. I ordered Simms' ProDry goretex pants and their mariner shoe for the trip to the river and in the boat - so stoked for them to arrive!

Don't get me wrong, I love my Orvis and Columbia gear, but based on the buzz, I'm pretty excited to try out my first set of Simms gear!

Hahaha! Don't worry - I'm not th etype of guy to switch to all ONE type of gear. I like diversity on my labels
