Hello all,

I am new to Toronto and very keen to get out and throw a line in. I'm planning to head over to Toronto Island this weekend and try my luck!
I have seen some great pic's and read some good stories. Can anyone point me in the right direction and suggest a few good spots to fish on
the Island and any Tips?

Thanks,

Mike

I fish the Toronto islands a lot but I usually target LM, SM and jumbo perch but I have never tried for pike

lol i took my bike and two bags when i went to the islands two weeks ago. A bike in union station is hard to get out with lmao.

Any tips on how to get SM from shore? I've never been able to find them.

The smallies tend to be holding on rocks on the main lake side. Try near any main lake breakwaters, piers, rock piles etc... tube jigs are good, so are spinner baits to find the active ones

So by the ferry side side right? I noticed there was a ton of rocks off to the side but was never able to get anything there.

Hey....Thanks for the great info and the link to that site, fantastic picture and very helpful.

I went last weekend, didn't have much luck but will have to head back over there. Great place

The ferry side is the inner harbor. Main lake is the open water on the south side of the islands.
