Toronto weekly Sunday fishing outings

Hi guys,
I got almost every Sunday time to go fishing and would like to explore the GTA fishing opportunities. If you are up for a nice Sunday outing for pike, bass, carp or what ever ... give me a shout.

Shore fishing? What do you want to fish for? I am interested.

Yes shore fishing since I got no boat. I am mostly interested in pike but happy to fish for any species that is open season.

Where abouts are you located? I am in Richmond Hill.

The Junction in Toronto west end, close to High Park

Would know a place for bass or pike fishing somewhere between Toronto and Richmond Hill? If you are up to coming downtown I would be happy to try Humber Bay Park or the Island.

Sorry Jan, but I coach my kid's hockey and ringette teams and just got the schedule. Looks like my fishing season is over until spring. Maybe we can hook up then!

humberbay park you can pretty much catch anything down there, so bring worms, spoons, plugs worms. spinners. problem is how many people catch and keep fish and how many are left to catch. i used to fish there hardcore 16 years ago.

Well at he moment the only ones catching hardcore are the loons hahaha but not me thats for sure
your talking about the west bay or? fished today the entire west shore of the bay close to the marina but well ... maybe my lures were rather to big
what spot do you like best close to the channel, close to the creek or in the bay?

the bay where the walk way is, to the right of it where that channel is, from the south side just throw spoons and spinners, you are bound to find something with teeth. maybe even some bass, that area is weedy. BUT i tell you what, lot of people fish that area and keep fish. right now fishing by mouth of any river is always a good choice. i actually have an extremely rare type of sun fish i caught there back in the days. i don't even know what they are called lol
