Nice looking, no doubt, but IMO Tracker doesn't have the same quality you can find in other boats. Look at the Rebel by Lund, it is closely priced to the Tracker you are looking at ;-)
Just my 2 cents

Tracker is the worst boat on the planet. I've known someone who split the hull wide open on its first outing. If you have a death wish that is the boat for you.

ALUMACRAFT, LUND, STARCRAFT are all better choices.

lund, nitro or skeeter, if you want totally for fishing, tracker is crap, i myself have a 2012 sea-doo wake, because we needed a boat for family, witch is mostly tubing, skiing, or high speed boating, high sides and to be able to fish from it, great boat, very comfortable, very fast, i have 2 jet rotax engines 160 hp on each, but its not a cheap boat especially if you want only a fishing boat, if i had that option, i would save about 20 grand and gotten a lund!

Nitro is Tracker ;-) It is their fibreglass line of bass boats whereas the bass trackers are all welded aluminum bass boats.

IMO if you're going aluminum, riveted aluminum boats are the way to go but that debate will go on forever.

There are many boats on the market that will satisfy both your fishing and water sports needs. My Lund has a rear casting deck that folds up into a bench for more seating when doing the water sports. It is very comfortable for my family.

gofishing: do your homework and go to the boat show in January, it is probably the best time of year to buy a boat. Very exciting for sure, let us know what you go with!!

Limited knowledge with boats but from what I hear is Lund is the way to go and Trackers are crackers.

I have a 16' Lund (with a 40p) which has been used for skiing, fishing and hauling lumber. The cottage is boat access only so it it used a lot. It is about 20 years old and the hull is as good as new (the seats have been replaced once, and so has the motor). It is especially good at riding the wave (or cutting through them).
I did have the use of a Tracker for about a month when we were getting the second motor on the Lund. The slimmer (shallow angle) bow on the Tracker meant that is really smacked over the wave rather than cutting them - and of course there was less useful space.

Another vote in favour of Lund and against Tracker.

thanks for all the help, I was looking at some stratos boats aswell does anybody know anything about them ?

Don't know much about Stratos. But they'd be a lot more expensive than the Tracker you were looking at unless you look for a used one. They would also be heavier as they are fibreglass. By the sounds of it, you are stuck on a bass boat, they are great if the only thing you are doing is fishing.
