Hey All OFF Members

The Sportsman Show is a few days away and i was looking at purchasing some polarize sunglasses for sight fishing

Any advice on which lens color is most effective when doing sight fishing

Also has any one heard of Solar Bat Sunglasses i have been looking at them for some time now and would love to hear if anyone has ever tried them out

for sunny days I use glasses with blue tint for cloudy days I use the orange tint. I just got mine at Canadian Tire I think they work great.

Quality of polarized lenses is usually directly proportional to the price - unless a designer name is involved. Best place to compare the difference in quality is at an optician (not necessarily the best place to buy). Start there, and figure it out There was a booth at the Spring Fishing Show that was selling decent quality for a good price.

Good polaroids are worth their weight in gold. Do your research. Different tints suit different conditions. I went for Spy Optics as I felt they're a good all-rounder. They're a little more expensive but also work as your day-to-day sunglasses. Two for the price of one. Now, I see everything in polaroid which helped to train my eyes.

Good luck.

Hi,

I normally use polarized Maui Jim's with a brown tint, they completely cut out glare on sunny days and the visual through the water is great.
