Anyone who has an excess of equipment and maybe looking to offload a fly rod?
I'm not too sure on the weights and lengths but I would love something suitable for catching brook, so probably smaller rather than bigger.
I can't afford a new one, hard to squirrel money away from the wife. PM me if you have anything that'd go for cheap.
Thanks for at least reading

I have a 6wt--orvis clear water rod--its sort of the all-around-rod length at 9ft that people suggest when you are starting and want a wide variety of fishing--it is virtually brand new..

Lol I'll message you... but "virtually new" doesn't bode well. Young child and wife get their hands on money before I do... there isn't much left by the time I get to use it.

Awesome thanks NADO, ya I've been cruising kijiji every few days but I was thinking you never know there has to be someone on here with a dozen+ rods that may have one collecting dust.
Ya Remy looking for close to free lol, like no more than $50. I should really quit smoking and I could afford a good one in a few weeks if I did... maybe some time..

thing with buying off of kijiji, you'll really have to carefully at the feruls, and guides, and check the drage on the reel, anything 'cheap' on there could have damage that would jeopardize the rod.

personally i woulda gone with rems orvis, I know he takes care of his gear and doesn't abuse it

I have learned to never argue with a man that can French lamb chops blindfolded--buyer beware on the internet--

Just check the stuff out well before you buy it, be skeptical. Oh and wheel and deal!

Oh btw sorry I forgot to PM you back bearinthewoods, I got some stocking lists and whatnot for you I will send later.
