Me and a friend are planning on doing some night fishing for Walleye in Kincardine at the Nuke Plant and we have been doing a lot of research and we were thinking of trying Glow Sticks but were not sure if it is a good idea for Walleye.

We would put glow sticks on our floats for night fishing. Floating minnows and waiting for that glow stick to submerge was always a blast.

The Walleye at night right now are supposed to be at around the 36 foot to 40 foot deep mark at night just out in front of the shoot's.

I may try using a Float but I'm not sure yet,I was thinking the Glow Stick may act like a Glow in the Dark Lure to help entice them to bite.

Dont do that, just use live bait cast out far with a jig head and a worm or minnow on it and retrieve slowly once it hits the bottom. maybe get a worm harness or something with a spinner on it to help the enticing.

Were planning on using a Worm Harness with a Slip Sinker, with Real Worm's and Rubber Gulp Leech's and Gulp Minnow's as well.

Were going to do what a friend of are's does and put the Slip Sinker abouve the Snap on are line then attach the Worm Harness to the Snap so the sinker will be about 3 feet above the Worm Harness so the fish won't see it.
I know some people say don't use a Sinker but the problem is getting it to sink in 36 to 50 feet of water and are friend that goes there all the time say's you need a Sinker or you just won't get the Bait to the bottom with the current and depth of water there.

What's the best colour of Spinner's for Walleye,I have the yellow and orange silver and brass not to sure if it matter's for Walleye or not but I don't want to use a colour if they really hate that colour.

All you need for the worm harness is a weedless/snagless weight. A swivel to attach to your worm harness. And of course the worm harness(I prefer neon colors or a perch color. Neon green/orange.). Only thing is I use worm harness' when I troll so you will have to retrieve that at a nice pace to keep the blade and bait off the bottom. Do not use a float/bobber unless you have some how figured out a way to set the hook properly from that distance of feet. You can even get a demon eye bait from bass pro which is basically a good lure for live bait fishing.
