Canadian Tire has some good waders. I bought mine from there a few months ago, went with the neoprene Explore pair. Works really good and comfortable. You could also try Bass Pro Shops near jane and 16th but they can be pretty expensive. I would say Canadian tire is your best bet.

Check walmart. I bought mind there years ago for $80. But u have to buy boots an that may cost $100. I have it now for 9 years. It's the brand BUSH something. Lol

efka those are good for the money, my buddy get em 2 weeks ago i think he paid around 200$. if your on low budged bare isn't bad but i still prefer simms :grin:

I prefer Simms as well I would say if you want a good pair of waders at a good price go with the simms Blackfoot there around 150 i have the g3 convertible and love them because I spend so much time in the summer fly fishing and chest waders get hot I want to get the g4s for steelheading but at 700 it's a big invesment
where could i get them for $150 instore?

im using that my 1st wader bare lightning until now. its very good in winter season in cold water and in good price and buy a redhead dogwood canyon wading boots you can buy them both with your budget 80$ wader 39$ boots i hope this may help you

I have had rubber hip boot and they were cold. If you want to fish in the summer don't go with neoprene. I believe that LeBarons sales people will let you try it on. They are incredably helpful, I like Bass Pro people too but I find for customer service LeBarons is excellent. I like the stocking, if you wear out the boots get another, you can't do that with the boot foot. I don't know if LeBarons still carry Browning that's what mine are 4.5 or 5.5 mm. I have not seen Browning there. 10 years old still no leaks. The rubber lasted 3 years, it cracked then leaked. No more crappy tire for quality equipment for me.
Do you plan to use in summer or only fall/winter? Neoprene insulates very well but will not breath for summer. I find neoprene easy to put on and take off if you get the right size.....lol. I have put on some weight in the time and that makes it tougher to get on.
I did not know not to keep them folded but opened and hung up to prevent permanent folds. Back then I think they were $160 and $45 for the boots. Very reasonable back then. If I had to replace mine, I would go with neoprene stocking and reuse my boots.

-I want to stay under $100 with tax, perfer like 80$
-I will be doing a lot of fly fishing but will be spinning as well.
-I don't know what type I want thats were i'm puzzeled...I will be wearing them in the winter, in the spring,in the fall, and probably in the summer as well. I would perfer to only buy one pair of waders, but really if it comes down to price, than I'll get my warmer ones now and get different ones in the spring. But at same time I can wear long johns and warmer clothing underneath as well, so that doesnt phase me to much either.
-Chest wader for sure!!
-Stocking waders, i don't like the boot waders, no suppport in it for walking.
I'm looking at these ones if someone could give me some input them as well. and other opinions on what my best options are. Thank you guys!!

I was in the Bass Pro Shop yesterday looking at all the stuff. The waders are not cheap there and the selection seems very few and limited. I did'nt check the fly section much, which I should have. Many of their waders did'nt have prices on them, I hate that, you have to find some one to get the price and there's no one around. I did'nt stop off at LeBaron. Pretty disapointed at Bass Pro. Buy online if you can find cheap. Porter the wader you found is probably the best for that price.

My suggestion is neoprene. Even though there warm, you still get cold. I can't imagine how cold it would be with the other kind. My feet get cold the most, cus of the light boots I have.
If it's hot in the spring, I just wear a t-shirt under my vest an I'm fine

Yeah that's true about the neoprene and cold. I think wearing neoprene in the summer/warm weather is like sitting in a baking car, you'll end up with heatstroke. No matter how cold the river is in summer it won't cool you and you'll just bake. Best to have 2, thickest neoprene for winter, spring and fall, a breathable/thin one for just summer. It's not the cheapest way to go but if you think about it the neoprene is a 3 season wader, the summer wader is limited to warm water only. You'll probably get hypothermia using the summer wader in late fall/winter/early spring. I don't know of a all around waders or way to make it all year use. For summer I figured swim trunks is fine, maybe get some neoprene socks and wear the same wading boots.
Think of winter tires, they are not for summer driving, neoprene waders are like that.
Bushline I think they are made by World Famous. Really good quality for the price. I got one of their jackets from 20 years ago still keeps out the rain.
I can't believe neoprene are that cheap online, under $100.
I'd still go to LeBarons or Bass Pro for waders. Personally, I rarely buy online. Just as Efka asked what are your needs. Porter you found good waders, you still got the link? Can you post it here.

As to my First post to get them in store I have no idea in any of the fly shops I have seen they tend to sell the high
End waders from Simms I did a search on e bay and found lots around then 142 dollar range you just need to know your size

LeBarons for the waders and walmart for a cheap pair of hiking boots .
Buy the hiking boots 1 size larger then you normaly take.

Good point Dann. I got the wading boots that cost alot more than regular hiking boots. Once I had a pair of hikers that had such a awesome grip on alge I used to wear it all the time. Could never find anything similar. But with Walmart you have 90 days to return footware. Find one test it on wet slippery keep/return for better ones. Then report on OFF............
