Started ice fishing a two year ago and looking for some good spots in or around waterloo region.

Not much around here other than small ponds..the lake in Drayton doesn't allow ice fishing because of sketchy ice it forms. Basically any ice fishing in this region would be done on the small ponds in the area give it a couple more cold days and some should be fishable. Just use google maps find a pond and give it a try.

Belwood or pushlinch lake any good? Havent been tho those two lakes but i hear there pretty good?

Never heard of any guys doing very well on belwood, puslinch is supposed to be ok but I'm not sure if you're allowed on.

I've barely fished Belwood, but when I did it was in the summer, I caught huge crappie, and saw walleye and pike being caught.
