Is it still wayyy to early to hit piers and start catching salmon? also do you think the run is gonna be late or early (I'm pushing for late lol) this year because of the long winter?

I'd be interested as well, I actually have a friend who says that he'll be out this weekend at a trib that shall not be named.IR4J said:Heres a fly caught king madoc... If anyone wants to get out and have a good time off shore without the crowds let me know... last year we only saw 4 other people all season.

I saw a guy hauled in a 15lb salmon using live minnows in an east harbor. but he only caught one. I think that's the best chance to catch them this early...harbours.

i have a charter bokked in the september, thats the only time i could get one, plus i got an insanely insane deal too but till then I'm gonna be chucking spoons, gotta make a home made launcher like above lolSlickrick said:you could always scratch that itch by taking a charter. and if you are on a boat registered with GOSD you have the possibility of winning something.
