What spinning rods?

The St.Croix line of rods is probably the best on the market. I just recently picked up a Duckett rod. Going to practice some punching with it.

What do you think of the 13? was looking at them myself.
I like it so far. I was using it with senkos also tried it with rapalas caught a few bass seemed to handle well and is pretty light for the size. I have only had the rod for a month or so

I currently have a 7' St croix Mojo Bass medium fast, with pflueger president reel.

Currently shopping for a casting rod, debating on trying different brands so researching as much as possible to get ready for next season.

What kind of casting are you doing? Bait wise. Certain rods restrict you as well as certain reels.

My main bait at the moment are Senkos, though I do have some crankbaits. The rod I bought is used for soft plastics.

I just learned that certain rods specialize on different lures >.< now I know why my uncle has over 15 rods lol.

Rapala TS2 6' 6", and a Fenwick Elite tech smallmouth series 6' 9"... The rapala one oddly enough is my favourite....might be because I caught my biggest bass on it lol But im more of a baitcaster kind of guy, I find they work well with most of my spinners and spoons!

spinning rods, spin when you reel
Float rods float when you hook a fish
fly rods seamingly float away when you hook a fish.

Hey grayer how do you like the elite tech smallmouth? I've always been curious on how they performed
Its a great rod, and I also tend to use it for when I go up north and target walleye and pike. To be honest, if you have used a Fenwick Eagle GT it feels very similar (my old man has an eagle) if not exactly the same. I use it on a Shimano Sahara 3000, and have no complaints! Would recommend it for sure if you want a rod to target smallies that are 2lbs+, thats when the enhanced sensitivity really comes in to play and gives you a great fight which we all know smallies can! Ive also noticed that It doesn't wear out my line as much as other rods do! Braided line that is

I got two eagle GTs actually and they're great rods for the price. Haha I was actually considering getting an elite tech a couple months back but I decided to buy a st. Croix triumph instead

St Croix are great rods Ive always wanted one for Pike/bass/walleye. I have a 11' 6" Wild river from st criox and I love it, still waiting for my first Chrome on it!!
